Engage, empower, and mobilize

The Latino Agenda is united to increase Latino voter turnout, empower our community beyond a single election cycle, and elect more Latino leaders. Our mission is to engage, empower, and mobilize our community year-round with expert political guidance and real investment in proven strategies.

THE PROBLEM

Nearly 1.5 million Latinos call Massachusetts home, yet Latino voter turnout remains insignificant in presidential elections and even less in state and local elections — a clear sign of disengagement.

In 2024, we saw historically low voter participation in Latino strongholds like Lawrence, Holyoke, and Chelsea — a troubling indication that Latino voters don’t feel empowered.

Political parties and candidates don’t spend significant resources on our community and in turn Latinos don’t vote because they aren’t mobilized.
